What you will do.
- Advise public clients and government organizations on mobility solutions that contribute to accessible, attractive, healthy, and liveable cities.
- Work on car-free cities, shared mobility, mobility hubs, and active mobility.
- Research and analyze complex issues and translate insights into concrete advice, visions, and (program) plans.
- Organize and guide sessions and bring together clients, administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Gain room to independently handle parts of assignments and client relationships.
Profile
- Curious about what mobility means for how people live, work, and move through a city.
- Can quickly grasp complex issues and has an eye for the different people and interests involved.
- Does not simply accept a client's request as given, asks probing questions, and dares to introduce a different perspective.
- Provides structure and direction and knows how to translate analyses and different perspectives into a concrete approach.
- Feels comfortable in a political-administrative environment and can engage various parties with ideas.
- Writes accessible and pleasant-to-read advice, presents convincingly, and enjoys collaborating.
- Wants to further develop in the mobility field, as an advisor, and in working with clients.
What they ask
- University (WO) level of work and thinking with a background relevant to the future of mobility (urban planning, civil engineering, urban design, behavioral sciences, or transition studies).
- Minimum of two years of relevant work experience, for example in the consulting sector or with a government agency.
- Affinity with urban mobility issues, such as shared mobility, mobility hubs, active mobility, public transport accessibility, or car-free cities.
- Sharp, analytical view and an eye for the political-administrative context.
- Well-developed presentation and writing skills.
- Entrepreneurial, identifies opportunities, and actively pursues them.
