The organization is investing heavily in the professionalization of its Supply Chain, specifically in Demand Planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
An external specialist has mapped the demand planning processes, forecasting methods, and supply chain challenges, laying the foundation for a structured S&OP process. We are now looking for an experienced Demand Planner to take ownership of the next phase. A solid foundation is already in place, and a warm handover from the external partner can be facilitated.
As Demand Planner, you will be responsible for driving forecast accuracy, improving inventory performance, and connecting commercial plans with supply chain execution. You will play a key role in ensuring the right products are available at the right time while maintaining healthy stock levels.
What you do
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve demand forecasts
- Translate commercial initiatives, promotions, and market developments into reliable demand plans
- Identify trends, risks, and forecasting deviations
- Optimize inventory levels and product availability
- Support and further develop the organization's S&OP process
- Prepare and facilitate demand review meetings
- Monitor forecast accuracy and drive improvement initiatives
- Work closely with Commercial, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain teams
- Analyze business data and translate insights into recommendations
- Contribute to the further development of planning tools, reporting

What they ask
- Bachelor's or Master's degree level of working and thinking
- Several years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Forecasting, or a similar role
- Experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Knowledge of inventory management and inventory optimization
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Experience with forecasting and planning software
- Strong command of both Dutch and English
- Experience within retail, e-commerce, FMCG, or another fast-moving consumer environment is considered a strong advantage
