In this role, you are responsible for preparing schedules during the preparation phase of projects with varying and high complexity. As the central figure in the project team, you are able to translate all activities into a concrete project schedule. During the realization phase, your role is to ensure follow-up and reporting. You monitor progress and identify potential bottlenecks, delays, and time savings.
You work closely with other project team members, work preparers, a client, and other stakeholders on the approach, dilemmas, and solutions for planning-related issues.
What you do
- Prepare and adjust the overall project schedule for one or more projects in planning applications, such as Primavera P6
- Monitor and drive the timely delivery of correct data and information for progress and impact analysis
- Organize and facilitate planning meetings
- Proactive communication about the project status and translation of the project schedule into steering information for the project team
- Prepare progress reports and overviews to report on project progress at various levels
- Identify potential planning risks, opportunities, and bottlenecks, and advise on possible planning-oriented solutions
- Proactively contribute to improvements in the planning process
What they ask
- A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Civil Engineering or similar
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in planning complex infrastructural or EPC projects
- Knowledge of project management related software, such as Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera Cloud, Risk Analysis, Tilos, MS Project, and/or Relatics
- Good command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken
- Meticulous, independent, structured, and analytically strong
- Able to collect various data, establish connections, and convert this into steering information
