Within occupational medicine, you will have the opportunity to apply your medical expertise at the intersection of health, work, and sustainable employability. You will guide employees on issues related to absenteeism, recovery, and reintegration, thereby making a direct contribution to their well-being and social participation. As a physician in occupational medicine, you will conduct medical assessments and advise both employees and employers on health in relation to work.
You will investigate which factors contribute to absenteeism, looking beyond just medical complaints. Work-related circumstances, lifestyle, psychosocial factors, and an employee's private situation also play an important role in your assessment. Based on your findings, you will provide advice on recovery, work capacity, prevention, and a responsible return to work. You will not be alone.
You will work under the supervision of an experienced occupational physician and be part of a multidisciplinary team including case managers and practice assistants. This will give you the space to learn, discuss cases, and further develop yourself within the field. - You have a completed Master's degree in Medicine
- You possess a valid BIG registration
