This assignment is for an experienced Data Modeler for a challenging project within an international and data-driven organization. In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining a consistent, scalable, and high-quality enterprise data model within a modern Unified Data Platform environment. You will work at the intersection of business, data, and technology and contribute to building a future-proof data architecture.
What you will do.
- Design, develop, and maintain logical and physical data models
- Support the further evolution of the enterprise data model
- Define and promote data modeling standards, guidelines, and best practices
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data product teams
- Translate business concepts and source systems into standardized data structures
- Review and integrate changes within existing data models
- Monitor consistency, data quality
- Align the enterprise data model with the business glossary and governance framework
- Monitor the adoption and impact of data models within the organization
- Actively contribute to the further development of a data-driven enterprise
Profile
- At least 5 years of experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of both normalized and denormalized data models
- Experience with logical and physical data modeling within enterprise environments
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis
- Experience with specific data modeling frameworks
- Good knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
- Experience within Agile teams and projects
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect business and IT
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of Dutch is a major asset
