As a Supplier Contract Manager, you play a key role in the transition of a subsidiary to a water board. Due to this organizational change, approximately 150-200 supplier contracts must be carefully reviewed, transferred, amended, or terminated. You bring various parties together, monitor progress, and ensure that all contractual obligations are handled correctly. You work closely with suppliers, legal specialists, finance, operational teams, and representatives from both the subsidiary and the water board.
Thanks to your knowledge of contract management, purchasing conditions, and supplier relationships, you create an overview in a complex contract portfolio and ensure a controlled and legally correct transition.
What you do
- Inventory, analyze, and prioritize approximately 150-200 supplier contracts
- Determine necessary next steps per contract, such as transferring, amending, terminating
- Coordinate contract transfers, contract amendments
- Maintain contacts and conduct discussions with suppliers about the contractual transition
- Coordinate with involved stakeholders within the parent organization, the subsidiary, and the water board
- Identify and manage legal, financial, and contractual risks
- Monitor the progress and status of all contracts and ensure an up-to-date overview
- Provide complete and careful documentation and transfer of remaining actions
