Mobile Support Worker Outreach Care

• You help people who have often fallen off the radar: care avoiders, (ex-)detainees, people with hoarding issues, and participants in complex situations.
• You build trust, bring peace to their daily lives, and help them step by step towards recovery, hope, and perspective.
• You work from a mobile team and are often on the road in the region, meeting people where they are, even if they do not (yet) have a home.
• You provide practical support, for example with finances, housing, and structure.
• Because no day is the same, you have a lot of freedom in your schedule; usually you work during office hours, but sometimes you adjust or visit in the evening when the situation requires it.
• You think outside the box and adapt to what the target group needs.
• You collaborate intensively with various partners in the social domain, such as the municipality, mental health services, addiction care, police, and housing corporations, to ensure that participants do not fall through the cracks.

What they ask

• An HBO (higher professional education) degree in Social Work or an MBO-4 (secondary vocational education level 4) care qualification with extensive experience in outreach care.
• You dare to make your own choices, think outside the box, and remain steadfast when the situation unfolds differently than expected.
• You are a Christian (Catholic, Protestant, etc.) and can articulate what that means to you.

• A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is part of the employment procedure.
• The VOG application is facilitated, and costs can be reimbursed afterwards.
• You must be able to present an original diploma.
• A reference check may be part of the procedure.
