To replace a colleague, a technology company is looking for a freelance Accountant to temporarily strengthen the Finance Team.
- You contribute to the efficient and qualitative operation of the team, in a versatile A-Z role.
What you do
- You are responsible for the complete A-Z accounting of one of the Belgian entities, from booking purchase and sales invoices to their follow-up.
- You handle payments via the online payment system and actively monitor outstanding customer and supplier items.
- You play an active role in closings, tax declarations, and audits.
- You perform the accounting processing of projects using the percentage of completion method.
- You are the point of contact for the accounting mailbox and communicate professionally with customers and suppliers.
What they ask
- Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accountancy/finance.
- Have relevant work experience in a similar position.
- Have good knowledge of Belgian accounting legislation (BE GAAP) and tax regulations (VAT and corporate tax).
- Be familiar with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Work accurately and organize your work efficiently.
- Be customer and team-oriented and possess strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of Exact Online is a plus.
