This assignment involves teaching safety modules within construction training programs. The target audience consists of students following a construction course who also require safety training. Classes can take place in the evenings and/or during the day.
What you do
- You make lessons interactive and varied to impart new knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
- You use relevant (digital) working methods to enhance the learning experience and foster engagement.
- You develop teaching materials (hand-outs, online content, practical exercises) and/or ensure that existing materials are up-to-date and relevant.
- You contribute to the image of an educational organization as a place for professional knowledge, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
What they ask
- Expertise and passion in the safety aspects of construction.
- Experience with various topics such as: asbestos, working at height, VCA, BA4, or basic safety for contractors level 12.
- An open learning attitude and empathy for people at different stages of the learning process.
- Some experience with teaching or public speaking is a plus; a pedagogical diploma is not a requirement.
