You oversee technical projects from idea and detailed design to final delivery according to a structured methodology. You meticulously monitor scope, timing, budgets, and quality standards, and prepare reports and dossiers for approval at internal approval levels. You organize and lead active risk analyses and ensure robust document management and a seamless transfer of installations to internal departments.
What you do
- Project Management & Stage Gate Process: Oversee technical projects from idea to delivery, monitor scope, timing, budgets, and quality standards, and prepare reports and dossiers for approval.
- Stakeholder Management & Specifications: Understand the demands of internal stakeholders and translate them into clear work packages and concrete technical specifications, taking into account legislation and the latest state of the art.
- Team Coordination & Leadership: Lead a multidisciplinary team (Discipline Engineers, Designers, Construction Supervisors, HSE) and conduct periodic project meetings to ensure progress, priorities, and mutual alignment.
- Tendering & Supplier Management: Select and negotiate with contractors and suppliers, critically follow up during the realization phase, and ensure contractual delivery documentation.
- Risk Management & Transfer: Organize and lead active risk analyses and ensure robust document management and a seamless transfer of installations to internal departments.
What they ask
- Education: A Master's degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent level through proven experience.
- Experience and Knowledge: At least 5 to 10 years of demonstrable experience in engineering and successfully managing (multidisciplinary) projects in an industrial or process environment.
- Technical expertise: Broad knowledge of standards and guidelines within technical disciplines (mechanics, electricity, piping, construction, and machinery directive).
- Experience with risk analyses (Hazop, ISO standards) and project methodologies is a clear asset.
- Knowledge of CAD software, strength of materials, or FEA/CFD is an additional plus.
