MultiMedia Support Coordinator

North BrabantHybrid12 hours/week<3months

The MultiMedia Support (MMS) team is part of a department within a public educational institution. Within this team, mutual relations have been significantly disrupted; a recent external cultural study on the functioning and social safety of the team is available as a starting point. Simultaneously, the educational institution is working with an internal program towards a re-clustering of organizational units; the MMS assignment must find its place within this.

As a coordinator, you bring calm and direction to the team and ensure that the MMS assignment aligns with the broader organizational movement.

What you will do.

  • Temporarily lead the MultiMedia Support team.
  • Restore collaboration by conducting necessary discussions and translating recommendations from the cultural study into appropriate interventions at individual and team levels.
  • Strengthen social safety within the team.
  • Redefine the team's assignment by clarifying the team's strategic objective.
  • Translate the team's objective into a future-proof positioning, team structure, composition, role distribution, and required competencies, including concrete expectations per employee.
  • Act as a discussion partner for the quartermasters of the internal program and coordinate with HR, the department's management, and involved stakeholders.
  • Deliver a clear and supported redefined team assignment, advice on the future structure and positioning of the team, and a transfer of your findings and recommendations to the quartermaster and management.
  • Periodically discuss progress with the client, the quartermaster, department management, HR, and relevant stakeholders.

What they ask

  • Demonstrable (interim) leadership experience with teams requiring a redefinition of team goals.
  • Demonstrable experience with leadership in an organizational context undergoing significant change, such as a reorganization, restructuring, or transition.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of HR tools and change management interventions.
  • Demonstrable experience as a discussion partner at program and management level.
  • Leadership style that combines professionalism and empathy.
  • Ability to address employees about their role and responsibility, and to create commitment for shared goals and desired changes.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills, keen awareness of the environment, and ability to remain calm in charged situations.

Practical

  • A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required.
