A specially equipped reception center for asylum seekers is looking for a behavioral expert. This center is intended for residents who cannot temporarily stay in a regular facility due to disruptive behavior. Residents follow an intensive daily program including recreation, sports, and training. The goal is to prevent disruptive behavior and to guide residents, often towards returning to their country of origin.
What you do
- Support and advise colleagues in guiding residents with complex support needs or behavioral problems.
- Help the team understand behavior, recognize signals, and develop appropriate action plans or treatment plans.
- Work closely with colleagues, supervisors, and management as an important link between signaling, analysis, and appropriate support.
- Identify developments, bottlenecks, and trends concerning residents with behavioral problems and translate these into practical advice.
- Actively seek connection with colleagues and contribute to an integrated approach for residents with complex support questions.
- Build and maintain a relevant external network with care providers and specialized partners.
- Participate in multidisciplinary consultations (MDOs) and ensure that expertise and information from various parties come together.

- HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level, preferably in a social-pedagogical direction.
- Experience in guiding people with complex support needs or behavioral problems.
- Strong advisory and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with different disciplines.
- Analytical, decisive, and able to maintain an overview in challenging situations.
