Clinical Psychologist

What you will do. A team of clinical psychologists in Belgium is looking for a professional to provide various direct services.

• Conduct telephone assessments of psychosocial risks.
• Provide work-life balance and short-term therapy.
• Perform psychological evaluations and provide telephone support.
• Ensure clinical case management and crisis management.
• Provide advice to callers, reactively, efficiently, and professionally, while ensuring confidentiality in accordance with the psychologist's code of ethics and professional ethics.
• Refer patients to more appropriate external resources if the service offered cannot meet the demands or needs.
• Conduct more specific evaluations regarding topics that may impact work behavior, such as substance abuse, mental health, or various family concerns.
• Ensure reactive case follow-up if necessary.
• Follow internal procedures governing service provision (clinical and legal protocols) and integrate data into internal software.
• Perform additional tasks as identified by the clinical team.

What they ask

• Master's degree in psychology, short-term therapy, or a similar field.
• At least two years of direct experience in psychology, short-term therapy, or mental health services.
• Good oral proficiency in English.
• Experience using short-term counseling modalities such as solution-focused therapy, CBT, mindfulness, integrative, and systemic counseling.
• Training in crisis intervention and support for high-risk clients is desirable.
