A municipal organization is seeking additional support for its sustainability ambitions.
- You will make sustainable choices visible and understandable for residents, the organization, and businesses.
- You inspire and activate people to take action on sustainable initiatives themselves.
- Examples include setting up a campaign to encourage cycling, creating a flyer about heat stress, or keeping a business energy counter up-to-date.
- The organization is working on themes such as energy, climate adaptation, biodiversity, sustainable mobility, food, and the transition to a circular economy.
- Communication is crucial in making the sustainability message clear, recognizable, and activating.
What you will do.
- Set up and execute public campaigns on sustainability themes.
- Create communication tools (online and offline) that resonate with target groups.
- Manage designers, web developers, or other external parties.
- Provide content for websites, newsletters, and social media posts.
- Coordinate and collaborate with colleagues and external sustainability partners.
- Inform residents at the sustainability desk.
- Participate in regular work meetings.
- Report to the client or a supervisor.
- Work in a team context.

What they ask
- Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience in the role of communication officer and/or communication advisor.
- Demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years with providing and drafting content for websites and social media.
- Demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years with communication regarding sustainability.
Preferences.
- Hourly rate maximum € 87,- excluding VAT, including travel expenses for commuting, work-related travel, parking costs, and platform fee.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years as a communication officer and/or communication advisor within a municipal organization.
- Demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years as a communication advisor:
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience (30 pts)
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience (20 pts)
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrable work experience (10 pts)
- Demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years with communication regarding sustainability:
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience (30 pts)
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience (20 pts)
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrable work experience (10 pts)
