As a team manager, you will lead a team of nursing specialists and nursing consultants. The team works within the highly complex care of the outpatient clinics of a specialized department.
What you will do.
- Strengthen nursing leadership and stimulate collaboration between different expertise centers.
- Contribute to innovative, person-centered, and future-proof care for patients with heart failure, transplant care, pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung diseases, lung oncology, and lung infectious diseases, among others.
- Create the conditions for high-quality patient care, a safe working environment, and the professional development of employees.
- Promote ownership, connection, and continuous improvement.
- Translate the ambitions of the department into daily practice.
- Be responsible for business operations, personnel deployment, and work organization.
- Monitor the balance between quality of care, employee satisfaction, and efficient use of capacity.
- Collaborate with medical specialists, medical coordinators, fellow team managers, and the sector manager on the further development of care.
- Stimulate training, research, and professional development.
- Strengthen collaboration within and outside the nursing team.
- Play an important role in further positioning and developing the nursing team within Pulmonology and Cardiology.

- HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level, preferably supplemented with a management or business administration degree.
- Experience as a manager within healthcare.
- Demonstrable experience with team development and change processes.
- Affinity with nursing care and the professional development of healthcare professionals.
- Experience with business operations, capacity issues, and process optimization.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to create connections between different disciplines and stakeholders.
