Mobility Manager

The assignment involves additional temporary capacity for the implementation of a railway system on a specific route. The work entails an exceptionally long train-free period of approximately four months and has a significant impact on travelers, freight transport, and regional accessibility. The assignment specifically focuses on mobility management around this rollout and does not replace an an existing position.

What you do

  • Contribute to reducing disruption for travelers, transporters, and the environment during the preparation and execution of works.
  • Connect diverse stakeholders and coordinate railway works, track closures, and other infrastructural activities.
  • Create an up-to-date and integrated overview of railway-related works, track closures, and other relevant infrastructural activities.
  • Timely signal risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks that affect accessibility.
  • Conduct analyses of disruption and propose concrete measures for disruption reduction and alternative mobility solutions.
  • Achieve effective coordination between the infrastructure manager, the program directorate, transporters, contractors, local authorities, water managers, emergency services, and other stakeholders.
  • Organize and guide relevant coordination meetings, sounding board groups, and other meetings with environmental parties.
  • Represent the infrastructure manager within relevant regional consultation structures.
  • Prepare periodic reports on progress, risks, dependencies, and disruption reduction measures.

Profile

  • HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level, preferably in mobility, traffic, logistics, technology, public administration, urban planning, or a similar field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience within the railway sector, infrastructure, or mobility environment.

Experience with.

  • Mobility issues, disruption reduction, or accessibility challenges.
  • Coordination between multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Complex infrastructural projects.
  • Analyzing schedules, dependencies, and risks.
  • Organizing and guiding consultation structures.

Knowledge of.
