You will work within an international aviation and transportation environment, contributing to business-critical integration services connecting internal and external systems. The role combines MuleSoft development, Java, API and event-driven integration, automated testing, CI/CD and production monitoring.
What you do
- Design, develop and maintain MuleSoft integration services using Mule 4
- Develop and maintain reusable framework components and services using Java and Mule Runtime
- Build robust event-driven integrations and APIs
- Integrate internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, HTTP, SFTP, JMS and queue-based messaging
- Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and implement automated tests
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build management and version-control processes
- Monitor, troubleshoot and improve integration services
- Support reliable and scalable integration solutions across business-critical systems
- Translate functional and business requirements into effective technical integration solutions
- Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners in an international environment
- Contribute to integration architecture, technical standards and engineering best practices
What they ask
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Informatics, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in integration projects
- Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft and Mule 4
- Strong knowledge of Mule Runtime Engine, Mule connectors and transaction management
- Hands-on experience integrating internal and external service endpoints
- Strong experience with event-based / event-driven integration
- Good knowledge of API design and development
- Experience with integration protocols including REST, SOAP, HTTP, SFTP, JMS and queueing
- Good knowledge of XML, RAML and WSDL
- Good working knowledge of Java
- Experience with Maven, Nexus, Git, Bamboo and Bitbucket
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting solutions such as the ELK Stack
- Strong working knowledge of Anypoint Platform, particularly API Manager and Runtime Manager
- Good understanding of enterprise integration architecture patterns and concepts
- Experience with TDD and automated testing
- Experience working within Agile development environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have.
- Knowledge of Spring
- Experience with Mule Runtime Fabric
- Previous experience within aviation, airline, logistics or transportation environments
