Instructor Teacher Automotive Technology

• You teach an average of 4 to 5 hours per day.
• You prepare lessons, schedule meetings with students, and consult with colleagues.
• You create a pleasant atmosphere and encourage active participation in class.
• You devise creative teaching methods and adapt them to students' learning needs.
• You support students in practical vocational training (bpv), maintain contact with training companies, and visit internships.
• You conduct discussions with students, participate in report reviews, and assist colleagues.

What they ask

• HBO (higher professional education) level through education or experience in a relevant field, such as automotive technology. A completed MBO (intermediate vocational education) level 4 with demonstrable HBO level is also welcome.
• Preferably a recently obtained second-degree teacher diploma or a pedagogical didactic certificate for MBO. A training trajectory is possible.
• Work experience in automotive technology. Experience with commercial vehicles is a plus.
• Competencies: inspiring, motivating, and guiding students, coaching skills, open communication, listening skills, fostering independence, collaboration, structuring lessons, and responding to unexpected situations in class.

• You will work in a diverse team of approximately 25 colleagues, including automotive technology teachers, Dutch, English, and mathematics teachers, and instructors.

• This is a temporary appointment.
