A challenging role where, based on security, you translate between business and IT, directly contributing to the information security of a government organization. Due to organizational growth, we are looking for two new colleagues.
What you will do.
- Responsible for systematically increasing the digital resilience of the organization.
- Identify, classify, and treat risks related to information security.
- Perform substantive system checks based on reports to assess the effectiveness of measures.
- Check and validate access requests and participate in audits.
- Implement the Operational Information Security Policy.
- Liaise frequently with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
- Involved in the introduction of new or updated systems and the application of new technologies and procedures.
- Be called upon quickly in case of critical vulnerabilities.
- Participate in various project groups and meetings, including regular consultations on information security with IT service providers.
- Member of the Change Advisory Board, Service Delivery meeting, and Technical Architecture meeting.
- Participate in 'Virtual teams' where change initiatives are discussed and tested against the information security policy.
Profile
- Excellent communication skills and able to persuade stakeholders.
- Possesses perseverance and tenacity.
- Flexible, service-oriented, solution-driven, and always aiming for the best result.
- Minimum of three years of experience as an Information Security Officer or in a similar role.
- Hands-on, able to work independently, but also a team player.
- Has a strong opinion.
- Knowledge of Azure and Cloud is a significant plus.
- Completed vocational education at HBO (higher professional education) level.
- Relevant certifications (CCSP, CISM, CISSP) are a plus, with the possibility to obtain them.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
Practical
- You will work in a department responsible for the development and maintenance of the organizational information provision.
- The team consists of four Information Security Officers.
- A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required.
