A government organization is looking for a civil engineering project leader for works related to the (re)design, development, and reconstruction of public spaces. The Urban Management department is responsible for the policy, programming, and execution of all activities necessary for the management and maintenance of public spaces.
What you will do.
- Ultimately responsible for the agreed work result for civil engineering projects.
- Prepare the project assignment.
- Manage and report on the GROTICK elements (Money, Risk, Organization, Time, Information, Communication, Quality).
- Go through the phases and deliver products on time according to quality standards.
- Result-responsible for final products linked to Go/No Go moments.
- Act in an environment-sensitive manner and involve stakeholders based on the communication and participation strategy.
- Timely liaison with the official client between technology, environment, and politics.
- Advise the project manager on both technical and GROTICK aspects within (area) developments.
- Participate in regular work meetings.
- Report to the client or a supervisor.

- Work in a structured, planned, and process-oriented manner.
- Analytical ability to deliver optimally manageable work results.
- Navigate well within a political-administrative organization and liaise with various departments.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Demonstrable work experience (in the past 5 years) with UAV and RAW systems.
- Demonstrable work experience (in the past 5 years) with project management principles such as Prince2 or IPM.
- Demonstrable work experience as a project leader for leading a civil engineering project.
Wishes.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience (in the past 8 years) as a Civil Project Leader within a municipal organization.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience (in the past 10 years) as a Civil Project Leader with responsibility for guiding work preparers, designers, site managers, supervisors, and external engineering firms.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience (in the past 10 years) as a Civil Project Leader within complex development projects (Construction and Residential Readiness BRM/WRM).
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience (in the past 8 years) with environmental management including participation processes.
