A public transport company is looking for a Technical Automation Project Manager for the Project Management department. This team consists of approximately 23 professionals and realizes asset-related projects in the areas of infrastructure, systems, stations, buildings, and fleet.
What you will do. As a Technical Automation Project Manager, you are responsible for realizing multiple technical automation projects. You are responsible for the entire project management process, from preparation and execution to delivery and transfer to management. You are responsible for the delivery of the following projects:
- Implementation and delivery of a system that enables real-time monitoring of bus activities to support operations, safety, and incident handling.
- Implementation and commissioning of a future-proof access management solution for designated locations, including transfer to management.
- Realization and delivery of the technical facilities for Central Traffic Control, including coordination of involved stakeholders and suppliers.
You report on content to the project clients and functionally to the Head of Project Management of the Engineering Bureau.
What they ask for.
- A completed HBO or WO degree (equivalent to Bachelor or Master), preferably in electrical engineering, technical business administration, mechanical engineering, or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as a project manager within a technical environment.
- Demonstrable experience with technical automation projects and projects where both technology and business operations converge.
- Experience with stakeholder management within complex organizations.
- In possession of PRINCE2 Practitioner and/or IPMA-D or higher.
- Knowledge of project control, risk management, and quality management.
Profile
The ideal candidate is an experienced technical project manager who can independently realize complex automation projects from start to finish. You are accustomed to managing multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and various stakeholders, while maintaining control over scope, planning, budget, risks, quality, and delivery. Experience with technical automation within mobility, infrastructure, industry, or transport is highly relevant to this assignment.
