A social organization is looking for a team manager for a daycare facility. At this facility, people with diverse support needs come together, sometimes requiring a listening ear and sometimes clarity and boundaries.
What you do
- Lead a team of over 10 professionals and approximately 100 volunteers.
- Ensure clarity, structure, and routines in daily operations.
- Be visible on the work floor and assist in incidents or difficult conversations.
- Support employees in de-escalating threatening behavior from visitors.
- Draft the annual plan, monitor progress, and be responsible for business operations and administrative processes.
- Maintain contacts with relevant internal and external partners.
- Guide the team through a relocation to a new facility.
- Prioritize and make decisions, even in hectic situations.
- Demonstrate ownership and take responsibility for progress and results.
Profile
- A heart for homeless people and an understanding of the employees' drive.
- Completed relevant HBO education, such as Social Work, SPH, or MWD.
- Minimum two years of management experience within healthcare and welfare, government, or a similar organization.
- Experience with a complex target group or people on the margins of society.
- Affinity with the Christian identity of the organization.
