Within a regional partnership, a communicative coordinator is sought for the theme 'education & labor market connection'. The multi-year agenda includes various themes, programs, and activities that require a close connection between education and the labor market. The goal is to better align education with and contribute to a future-proof labor market in the region.
The coordinator will fulfill varying roles, depending on the project status, ranging from exploratory to connecting, executive, facilitating, or communicative. The result is that successful activities can be sustainably embedded in the region. The contractor independently determines the approach, planning, and execution within the set objectives and conditions.
What you will do.
- Conduct exploration and further development of a regional hub in collaboration with involved partners (education, employers, industry organizations).
- Monitoring and substantive/financial accountability of the regional hub in collaboration with the project leader.
- Facilitate connection in various projects where education is an implementing partner, such as the further development of a practical lab into a talent workshop, a regional internship office, and projects contributing to the further development of a work center.
- Identify, explore, and seize opportunities for new initiatives at the intersection of education and the labor market, and develop these further with regional partners.
- Establish connections with other themes in the multi-year agenda, including Lifelong Learning, From school to sustainable work, and the inclusive labor market.
- Participate in team meetings of the program office for coordination of projects and themes.
- Strengthen and sustain collaboration between education (VO, MBO, VSO/PrO, HBO and WO, sectors and private education partners) from the labor market region's network.
- Strengthen and sustain collaboration between education and employers in collaboration with network partners.
- Investigate possibilities for sustainability upon successful results/completion of projects.
- Document progress and report on projects to relevant regional consultative bodies.
Profile
As a coordinator, you will work on improving the connection between education and the labor market in the region. You will support and connect projects and activities that contribute to a future-proof labor market. Depending on the phase and needs of a project, you will fulfill an exploratory, connecting, executive, facilitating, or communicative role. Within the objectives and conditions of the multi-year agenda, you will independently determine your approach, planning, and working method.
You will contribute to ensuring that successful projects and results are sustainably embedded in the region.
