As a supervisor in mental healthcare (GGZ), you see the person behind the behavior and are able to approach complex situations like a puzzle. You believe that structure provides freedom and humor connects, and you work from insights rather than just protocols. You will join a specialized center for neuropsychiatry.
What you will do.
- You are an important point of contact for patients.
- You offer proximity and warmth, but also set clear boundaries.
- You act as the external structure that the patient lacks.
- You consult with the multidisciplinary team about the patient's needs.
- You provide 24-hour care, including somatic care, but primarily focus on behavior, observations, and guidance.
- You will work varying shifts (early, late, and night) and have influence over your schedule through self-rostering.
Profile
- Completed level 4 supervisor training, HBO social work, or a comparable education.
- Experience is a plus, but the focus is on who you are and what you bring to the team.
- You have an open attitude and enjoy contributing ideas.
- You are not deterred by unexpected situations and seek creative solutions.
- You communicate clearly and are a good sparring partner for colleagues, relatives, and other stakeholders.
- You are genuinely curious about the person behind the behavior and want to develop within neuropsychiatry.
