Interim assignment within technical CAPEX projects in an existing production environment.
- You will work on brownfield projects where existing production lines, utilities, and installations are technically adapted.
- Involvement in engineering, technical specifications, and translation to realization.
- The focus is on the mechanical aspect of projects and the technical elaboration of adaptations to existing installations and production lines.
- Translate issues from production or technology into a clear scope, specifications, and a feasible solution within the existing installation.
- Take into account existing installations, available space, connection points, production processes, and the consequences of changes.
- Coordinate solutions with production, technical maintenance, engineering, and safety.
- Remain involved from an engineering perspective during execution for technical questions and assessment of the chosen solution.
What you will do.
- Work on technical investment projects within an existing industrial production environment.
- Establish technical principles, scope, and specifications for engineering and external parties.
- Coordinate from a mechanical perspective with other technical disciplines involved in the project.
- Maintain technical contact with suppliers and subcontractors regarding specifications, solutions, and feasibility.
- Remain involved in technical questions and changes during execution.
- Liaise with production, technical maintenance, engineering, and safety regarding technical consequences.
Profile
- Experience as a Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or in a similar technical project role.
- Experience with CAPEX projects within industry, process industry, or a comparable production environment.
- Ability to translate a technical issue into scope, principles, and specifications.
- Ability to engage in in-depth discussions about pumps, boilers, and heating and cooling systems.
- Ability to coordinate technical choices with production, maintenance, other engineering disciplines, and external parties.
- VCA-VOL certificate or willingness to obtain it in the short term.
