The organization provides shelter for young people aged 13 to 18 who need structure and regularity. They receive 24/7 guidance to enable them to live independently.
What you will do.
- Conduct mentoring conversations with young people.
- Maintain contact with external organizations and care providers.
- Ensure a safe and livable residential environment.
- Be a visible point of contact for the young people.
- Work closely within a team and participate in meetings and intervision discussions.
What they ask
- Education: HBO diploma (e.g., Social Work, Social Work and Services, SPH, Pedagogy, or Applied Psychology).
- SKJ registration or the possibility to obtain it in the short term.
- Work experience: preferably in youth care, mental health care, within a care institution, and/or welfare work.
- Personality: be resilient, empathetic without losing professional distance, and clear in setting boundaries.
- Flexibility: availability for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts (night shifts are always wake-up shifts).
- A relevant MBO diploma combined with an SKJ registration is also negotiable.
Practical
- A team consists of 15 to 40 employees, including youth workers, residential counselors, and behavioral experts.
- The organization offers a one-year contract with the possibility of a permanent contract.
- Salary indication: between € 3,590.34 and € 4,978.19 gross per month based on 36 hours, including irregular hours allowance and annual salary growth.
- Secondary employment conditions: travel allowance, individual choice budget (18% of annual salary), pension scheme, career budget, and vitality hours.
- Vacation leave: 144 hours for a full-time position, with the option to purchase an additional 26 hours of leave via the Individual Choice Budget.

- A pre-employment screening (VOG, diploma, and identity check) is part of the procedure.
