Work Supervisor Addiction Care and Psychiatry

You provide residential guidance to participants with a history of homelessness, psychiatry, and/or a mild intellectual disability. You are the linchpin in daily operations: visibly present, collaborative, and strong in content.

• You support the department manager in daily affairs.
• You monitor the work floor, ensure work processes run, and agreements are met.
• You coach personal and group counselors in their daily work, encourage ownership, and contribute to a professional feedback culture.
• You collaborate with Trajectory Managers and Behavioral Scientists to monitor the substantive course for each participant and ensure it is visible on the work floor.
• You communicate clearly and accessibly, take into account the participant's background, and remain consistent in your expectations.
• You work in a multidisciplinary team with counselors, behavioral scientists, nurses, night watchmen, and caretakers.

You work with people who have not always had an easy path and know how to build trust, even if it takes time. You maintain an overview in a dynamic environment and continue to see the person behind the problems.

• Completed HBO degree (Social Work, SPH, MWD or similar)
• Demonstrable experience as a Personal Counselor
• Knowledge and experience with the target group of addiction care and mild intellectual disability (MID)
• Experience with coaching or guiding colleagues
• You dare to steer work processes, even if it causes resistance
• An enterprising, decisive, and reflective ability
• You are a Christian and can articulate what that means to you.
