What you do
As a medical advisor, you are first and foremost a physician. You support treating physicians in the recovery of our members and examine their right to intervention. In parallel, you ensure optimal allocation of social security resources.
- You monitor the health status of our members and help them return to work after a long absence, reorient their career, or better organize their schedule.
- You ensure medical control of work incapacity and examine prescribed healthcare.
- You support members considering a return to work (reintegration) or help them find a job better suited to their physical and mental capacities.
- You discuss member files with other healthcare professionals: treating physicians, colleagues, and the paramedical and nursing team.
- You draw up clear and relevant reports on the decisions you make and ensure correct administration.
- You stay informed of all developments in insurance medicine and healthcare legislation.
Profile
- You hold a master's degree or license in medicine, possibly supplemented by a specialization in general medicine, occupational medicine, insurance medicine, or surgery.
- You have experience as a general practitioner or specialist. Or you have recently graduated and are clearly considering a medical advisor position.
- You are eager to join a multidisciplinary team composed of colleagues and paramedical professionals.
- You master the art of communicating your opinion and decisions with firmness, diplomacy, and empathy.
- You enjoy delving into complex pathologies and social legislation.
Practical
- You will face a medical challenge, meeting and giving advice on various complex pathologies, from work accidents to psychological disorders, oncology, hernias, and burnouts.
- You can count on a complete team of colleagues and paramedical professionals. The administrative team supports you at the operational level.
- You will receive personal coaching from another medical advisor for three to four months and follow an internal training program that covers all aspects of your work, with the goal of official accreditation.
- Opportunities for continuous training are offered, as well as the chance to pursue a two-year specialization in insurance medicine and medical expertise.
- You organize your schedule as you see fit and do not have to work evenings or weekends, allowing for a good work-life balance.
