Policy Director Mental Health & Resilience

Within a regional collaboration, a transformation plan has been developed focusing on Mental Health & Resilience. This plan includes 23 sub-projects that contribute to appropriate support and care for residents with mental health issues. The role involves directing municipal involvement within this transformation plan.

What you will do.

  • Direct municipal involvement within the regional transformation plan.
  • Provide policy advice.
  • Prepare administrative decision-making.
  • Coordinate and align between municipalities and collaboration partners.
  • Advise administrators, management, and colleagues on issues related to mental health, prevention, and resilience.
  • Support municipal collaboration.
  • Operate within a complex field involving municipalities, care providers, welfare organizations, general practitioners, health insurers, and other social partners.
  • Work closely with the program manager, project leaders, and policy advisors of the involved municipalities and regional collaboration partners.

What they ask

  • Minimum of a completed relevant HBO bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable work experience as a policy advisor or project leader within a municipal or regional collaborative environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable work experience within the social domain, public health, mental health, prevention, welfare, or youth.
  • Demonstrable experience with administrative advising.
  • Willingness to sign an integrity declaration from the client after award.
  • Willingness to provide a valid VOG (certificate of good conduct) (risk areas 1, 4, and 8) after award.

  • Strong analytical ability with insight into policy processes and the ability to translate strategic issues into concrete actions.
