Asset Manager

As a civilian employee within a military organization, you contribute to peace and security through your specialization. You work together in a team of military personnel, reservists, and civilian employees.

What you will do.

• Make a significant contribution to the availability and deployability of weapon systems.
• Ensure control over logistical processes, maintenance, and material performance with analytical insight and experience in developing and maintaining dashboards.
• Be responsible for the logistical and maintenance process surrounding new equipment and guide its integration within the organization.
• Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, both internal and external to the organization.
• Take the lead in logistics and connect different specialists to effectively coordinate processes.
• Support clients in entering into new contracts with your analyses.
• Map material needs, determine required quantities, analyze maintenance needs, and make the financial impact transparent.
• Gather input from various disciplines and translate it into a well-substantiated statement of requirements.
• Manage collaboration with suppliers, monitor the delivery of products and services, and ensure agreements are met.
• Create insight into performance and results using dashboards you develop and maintain yourself.
• Actively engage in discussions with suppliers to jointly realize improvements.
• Directly contribute to the readiness and deployability of military units, together with an enthusiastic team of technical and logistical professionals.

What they ask

• Completed Mbo (intermediate vocational education) degree in logistics or business administration.
• Experience working in a warehouse or logistical environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Work accurately, structured, and follow rules and work procedures.
• Be able to think along about optimizing processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
