Absence Case Manager

An organization specializing in occupational health and absence management is looking for an experienced Absence Case Manager. In this role, you will have a lot of independence and be responsible for guiding and managing absence and reintegration processes. You will work with various organizations and be in contact with employees, managers, HR, and employers.

What you will do. As an Absence Case Manager, you will manage the entire absence process. You will guide trajectories from the sick leave notification, monitor progress, and advise on next steps. Your tasks will include:

• Guiding and coordinating absence and reintegration processes
• Advising employers, HR, and managers on absence and reintegration
• Conducting discussions with employees and involved parties
• Monitoring deadlines, actions, and agreements made
• Identifying bottlenecks and making timely adjustments where necessary
• Contributing to ideas on prevention and sustainable employability
• Collaborating with company doctors and other professionals
• Meticulously documenting progress and agreements made

You will also look at the broader context and contribute ideas on how organizations can sustainably address absence.

• HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level
• Experience as an Absence Case Manager, reintegration advisor, or in a similar role
• Knowledge of and affinity with absence, reintegration, and sustainable employability
• Strong communication and advisory skills
• Ability to advise independently and autonomously, without losing sight of the relationship with the involved parties
• You are analytical, accurate
• You take initiative and know how to set priorities well
• You work independently, but also enjoy collaborating with other professionals
• Good command of the Dutch language
