Civil Engineering Project Leader

• You are the point of contact for colleagues from the Urban Management department for the area development program.
• You play a central role in leading project teams.
• You provide technical and contractual guidance to an external engineering firm.
• You ensure that projects, from start (intake) to end (handover to management), are achieved within the applicable frameworks (Budget, Time, and Quality).
• You collaborate closely with project team members.
• You regularly liaise with the project manager on technical, environmental, and political aspects.
• You have a proactive role in guiding, coaching, and directing junior preparers and project leaders.

What they ask

• Minimum of a completed HBO bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a comparable field.
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable work experience as a civil engineering project leader with large-scale area development projects in a comparable role (contract manager, technical manager, project manager).

Preferences.

• Minimum of 8 years of demonstrable work experience as a civil engineering project leader with large-scale area development projects within a government organization.
• Minimum of 12 years of demonstrable work experience in the broad field of area developments in a political-administrative environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable work experience coordinating complex civil engineering projects within area developments.
• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable work experience as a civil engineering project leader in managing and guiding external consulting and engineering firms within civil engineering projects.
