Leading complex high-voltage substation projects for the energy transition, with ultimate responsibility from request to delivery.
- Monitoring budgets, managing the entire procurement process, handling project documentation, and ensuring on-site safety.
- Advising clients and leading multidisciplinary teams in high-voltage engineering, infrastructure engineering, and civil engineering.
- Independently leading projects and serving as the central point of contact for technical and organizational issues.
- Working for a technical service provider in the energy sector, within a business unit focused on high-voltage substations for national grid operators.
- Contributing to the energy transition by executing projects for energy generation, transport, delivery, and storage.
- Realizing large-scale substation projects crucial for the reliability of the national high-voltage grid.
What you do
- Leading projects within high-voltage substations, including managing ordering processes and project budgets.
- Managing the entire procurement process from request to contract formation.
- Ensuring complete and correct project documentation in accordance with requirements and contract forms.
- Advising the project team on risks, planning, and budget.
- Coordinating and directing on-site activities, with technical involvement in the execution.
- Monitoring project progress and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Applying and enforcing safety regulations and contractual agreements.
- Working with planning software, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and project management tools for reporting and progress monitoring.
What they ask
- MBO or HBO diploma in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology, or equivalent.
- Experience in project management or project coordination in an energy technical environment.
- Knowledge of high-voltage engineering, civil engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
- Experience with safety regulations and contract forms such as UAV, UAV-GC, and D&C.
- Experience with planning software, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and project management tools.
- Cost-conscious and results-oriented work, with a high degree of independence.
- Good communication skills for coordination with execution, procurement, and clients.
- Ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
