An occupational therapy practice is looking for an experienced occupational therapist for a long-term collaboration.

The practice guides (young) adults struggling with daily functioning due to issues such as stress, overstrain, burnout, persistent fatigue, sleep problems, overstimulation, cognitive complaints, brain fog, PAIS, and the consequences of a concussion.
Significant attention is also given to women's health, including menstruation-related complaints, PCOS, PMDD, endometriosis, menopausal symptoms, and issues related to pregnancy and the postpartum period.
The approach is body-oriented, focusing on the interplay between body, thoughts, emotions, behavior, and environment.
Most treatments take place online, with hybrid guidance also offered. For this specific assignment, an occupational therapist is sought to provide fully online guidance to clients from their own workspace.

What you do

Guide clients experiencing difficulties in their daily lives due to physical, cognitive, or psychological complaints.
Investigate challenges, patterns, and needs to shape daily activities in a meaningful way.
Tasks include:
Energy management and load-capacity: gaining insight into daily activities, energy distribution, and recovery, and guiding clients in finding a suitable balance.
Body awareness and self-regulation: helping clients recognize signs of tension, fatigue, and overload, setting boundaries, and better aligning with their needs.
Daily structure and actions: reviewing routines, self-care, household tasks, social activities, and the balance between effort and relaxation.
Stimulus processing and cognitive load: supporting clients in dealing with overstimulation, concentration problems, and difficulties with planning and maintaining an overview.
Stress and recovery: guiding the development of helpful habits, relaxation, managing thoughts and emotions, and making choices aligned with personal values.
Return to work and participation: guiding clients towards a suitable and sustainable return to work or other meaningful activities.
Translate insights from discussions into practical exercises and achievable steps.
Independently conduct intakes and follow-up treatments.
Develop treatment plans and ensure thorough documentation.
Work from your own expertise and treatment style.

Completed HBO degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current quality registration with the Kwaliteitsregister Paramedici (KP).
Personal AGB code.
Successfully completed Direct Access Occupational Therapy (DTE) training.
Extensive experience in independently performing occupational therapy treatments.
Preferably already working as an independent entrepreneur.
Experience and affinity with one or more of the practice's target groups.
Attention to both the physical and psychosocial aspects of complaints.
Independent, engaged, and meticulous.
Interested in a long-term collaboration.
Available on short notice to start the collaboration.
Suitable home workspace for quiet, undisturbed, and confidential online treatments.
Stable internet, good camera, and microphone for professional online treatments.

Collaboration as an independent entrepreneur (not an employment contract).
Determine your own availability, client acceptance, and treatment approach.
Responsible for your own professional conduct, treatment trajectories, record-keeping, and work organization.
Requirement: own Chamber of Commerce (KvK) registration and appropriate insurance.
The practice offers access to an existing client flow and opportunities for collaboration with other occupational therapists.
Fully online work from your own suitable workspace.
