An expertise organization in the field of rehabilitation, education, and care for visually impaired and blind people is looking for an information manager to strengthen its team. The focus will be on educational issues, but deployment across the organization is possible. Information management acts as a strategic partner for ICT, translating organizational needs into information systems and services, and connecting issues with technological developments.
The team. The team consists of 6 information managers who work independently on new issues. The department focuses on quality, control, and innovation, essential for guiding issues within education and the broader organization.
What you will do.
- Translate information needs and requirements into ICT solutions
- (Co-)execute and contribute to the Strategic Information Policy
- Contribute to the development and implementation of operational and/or tactical IM policy by researching and analyzing developments, identifying opportunities and threats, and translating these into policy proposals
- Advise (education) management on new applications and possibilities and/or improvement of current applications within frameworks established by the organization
- Act as project leader for education-transcending and organization-wide projects
What they ask
- An HBO diploma (higher professional education), preferably with a specialization in Business & IT Alignment
- Experience with project-based work and experience in leading projects
- The competence to handle various interests well
- Good communication skills
