As a pharmacy assistant in the Polyclinic Pharmacy of an academic medical center, you are the important link between doctor and patient. Patients report here after their discharge from the hospital or after a visit to the polyclinic. This ensures a diverse patient flow and varied activities. You will work with sometimes complex prescriptions, which deepens your expertise and offers many development opportunities.
What you will do.
- Deliver medication to the patient and ensure a smooth transfer from the hospital to the patient's home pharmacy.
- Play an important role in checking dosages and performing medication monitoring.
- Provide correct information to the patient.
- Ensure an up-to-date medication overview and an accurate medication profile in the patient's file.
- Deliver discharge medication for the entire hospital.
- In addition to counter duties, also work one day a week in our back office, where you can join, for example, the call team, logistics, discharge, or administrative tasks.
What they ask
- A completed MBO (intermediate vocational education) degree as a Pharmacy Assistant.
- At least a few years of work experience in a pharmacy.
- Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, and reasonable command of the English language.
- Preferably some experience with the CGM pharmacy system (formerly Mira).
- Arithmetical skills.

- A team of 16 colleagues is present daily.
- The pharmacy is open from Monday to Friday between 08:30 - 17:30.
