An external consultant is looking for a professional for a major insurance company. You will be responsible for managing home insurance claims, from initial declaration to settlement, ensuring an optimal customer experience and applying internal procedures and current regulations.
What you do
- Manage and monitor home insurance claims from A to Z
- Evaluate claims, verify coverage, and determine the appropriate handling for each file
- Ensure coordination with clients, experts, repairers, and other stakeholders
- Analyze supporting documents and assess the financial impact of claims
- Ensure accurate and timely updating of claims files in Guidewire
- Ensure follow-up of payments, settlements, and ongoing actions
- Manage complex or litigious claims and escalate files if necessary
- Guarantee compliance with internal procedures, insurance policies, and applicable regulations
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of claims management processes and customer experience
What they ask
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in claims management, ideally in home insurance
- Mastery of Guidewire is essential
- Good knowledge of claims management processes in home insurance
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Customer service orientation and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with various stakeholders
- Bilingual French-English
- Previous experience within a large insurance company is a major asset
