You will join a compact, entrepreneurial organization, a dynamic real estate organization, where you will have broad responsibilities and work directly with decision-makers. The organization is horizontally structured with a team of approximately 10 employees. Decision-makers are closely involved in daily operations. The team consists of various profiles, including investment, B2B brokerage, communication & marketing, and sustainability.
The atmosphere is informal and entrepreneurial, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and office presence.
What you will do. As an in-house real estate lawyer, you will combine legal expertise with strong involvement in investment activities. You will be an important sparring partner for the team and will follow files from acquisition to sale.
- You will monitor KYC processes and coordinate them where necessary.
- You will conduct and coordinate due diligence for real estate acquisitions and sales.
- You will draft B2B contracts and review existing agreements.
- You will collaborate with external law firms and manage them where necessary.
- You will provide legal support throughout the entire investment cycle.
- You will assist with the acquisition of real estate.
- You will be involved from the purchase in the further follow-up of investments.
- You will combine legal knowledge with a commercial and pragmatic outlook.
- You will contribute to the active management and further development of the real estate portfolio.
- You will follow investments from acquisition to final sale.
You will not be responsible for architect contracts or permit procedures.
Profile
We are looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility and feels comfortable in a small, entrepreneurial organization.
- Approximately 5 years of experience in advocacy, or relevant legal experience within the business sector.
- A strong interest in real estate, investments, and asset management.
- A hands-on and pragmatic approach.
- The ability to independently handle files and bring them to a successful conclusion.
- Good commercial and business acumen.
- Fluent in Dutch, English, and French. You will work with contracts in these three languages.
- You are amicable, approachable, and down-to-earth.
- You enjoy working closely with colleagues and feel at home in a young and dynamic team.
