For a company specialized in the collection and processing of waste for recycling, we are looking for a technician with a passion for the maintenance and repair of trucks and trailers. Occasionally, you will assist with maintenance work on sorting installations.
What you will do.
- Perform diagnostics
- Detect and resolve malfunctions
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and transshipment equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
- Prepare vehicles for technical inspections
- Occasionally work on sorting installations (e.g., limited welding, bearing installation, minor repairs)
- Accurately maintain administrative records of work performed
Profile
- Technically trained: automotive engineering, electromechanics, or equivalent by experience
- Basic knowledge of welding and mechanical maintenance
- Ability to work independently
- Organized with an eye for detail
- Limited administrative work does not deter you (keeping track of work, consumed materials, work orders)
- In possession of a B driving license, C(E) driving license is a plus
- Fluent in spoken and written Dutch
