What you will do. As a Security Consultant, you provide security advice to the Purchasing, Projects, and Weapon Systems directorates within the department. This way, you contribute to the projects, procurement processes, and standardization processes within the department. You have an affinity with integral security and are willing to further professionalize within this domain.
- You advise project teams based on risk analyses regarding security throughout the entire lifecycle of material, namely acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
- You formally inform the security organization about how project teams handle risks and provide advice on improvement opportunities.
- You are responsible for the evaluation and monitoring of advisory products.

You contribute to an organization-wide open security culture, where the level of security awareness is sufficiently high, and everyone feels safe to report abuses, risks, and incidents and address deviations with each other. Profile
- Knowledge in the field of Security, passion for the profession, and driven to learn. Some relevant experience is important.
- Competencies: Analysis, communication, persuasiveness, flexibility, planning and organizing, and creativity/innovation.
Practical
- A security screening is part of the selection procedure.
- To be eligible for this position, you must be from a country within the European Economic Area. If this is not the case, you must have a combined permit for residence and work (GVVA).
