A production house is looking for a Business Leader to determine the financial and strategic direction.
- The media landscape is rapidly changing, requiring a strategic sparring partner for the management team with financial talent, commercial acumen, and a passion for media and creation.
What you will do.
- Ultimately responsible for the financial operations of the production house and an active member of the management team.
- Strengthen financial control and planning.
- Rigorously manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting.
- Analyze profitability per production, client, and content format, and advise on smart investments, new formats, and innovative revenue models.
- Expert in project financing and negotiate budgets and contracts with broadcasters, streamers, brands, and media partners.
- Assess media contracts and license agreements legally and substantively for feasibility and risks.
- Help make financial systems and administrative processes more efficient and coach the financial team.
Profile
- Proven track record in broad financial end-responsibility, preferably in the media, audiovisual, or creative sector.
- Analytical and commercial: effortlessly reads a balance sheet, understands revenue models, and is a strong negotiator.
- Demonstrable experience with project financing, media contracts, and ideally with Tax Shelter and VAF.
- Strategic and hands-on: thinks at a high level about the company's direction but is equally willing to roll up sleeves for operational and administrative follow-up.
- Communicative and connecting: can clearly explain figures, grow a team, and get people on board with financial discipline.
- A collegial sparring partner, critical, pragmatic, and not afraid to help shape the future.
