A healthcare organization is undergoing significant development. We are growing, professionalizing, and in the midst of an organization-wide transformation. As Operations Manager and a member of the management team, you play an important role in the business management and further development of the organization. This requires strong business and financial insight, leadership, and the ability to translate the organization's direction into clear processes, agreements, and results.

What you do

As Operations Manager, you have a broad and responsible role within the organization. You are a member of the management team and, in that capacity, advise the board and management on business and organizational issues. You are responsible for efficient, future-proof, and financially sound operations that optimally support the primary care process.

You manage the organization across various areas, including production, revenue, budgeting, capacity, planning, waiting list management, contracts, facility matters, ICT, and supporting processes. You use management information to timely identify developments and deviations and translate these into concrete actions and choices. You lead the team leaders, the treatment secretariat, and the care administration.

You ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and work agreements and support team leaders in their leadership, ownership, and results-orientation. In doing so, you stimulate collaboration between locations, disciplines, and support services.

  • You are responsible for contract management with municipalities and for facility contracts, housing, maintenance, facility matters, and ICT.
  • You identify business risks, opportunities, and improvement possibilities and advise the board and MT on resources, priorities, and organizational structure.
  • You work closely with the Head of Treatment, so that quality of care, available resources, production, capacity, and personnel deployment are assessed in conjunction.

In this role, you report directly to the board and work closely with the Head of Treatment, the team leaders, and the operations office.

What they ask You are a strong and results-oriented manager with a business perspective. You are well able to maintain an overview, make connections, and move from analysis to action. You bring structure, dare to make choices, and persevere when changes require time and persistence. You easily invite people to think along with you and have an eye for the strengths, knowledge, skills, and values present at the locations.

  • You have a relevant education in areas such as business administration, management, finance, healthcare management, HRM, or organizational development.
  • You have extensive experience with business operations, leadership, process design, financial and results-oriented management, capacity management, and change processes.
