Laboratory Technician

You will work in close collaboration with scientists and other laboratory technicians.

• You will contribute to the development, optimization, and execution of experimental activities in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

What you will do.

• Plan, organize, and carry out fermentation and/or cell culture tests in accordance with procedures and safety rules.
• Prepare and handle raw materials, culture media, reagents, solutions, and consumables necessary for laboratory activities.
• Perform analyses associated with the experiments.
• Use, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment, reporting any anomalies.
• Analyze and interpret experimental results with rigor and critical thinking.
• Document and record data in electronic systems, ensuring traceability.
• Present results during team or project meetings when necessary.
• Apply current procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Respect safety rules and good laboratory practices.
• Participate in required training and contribute to the continuous improvement of methods and processes.
• Collaborate effectively with teams to achieve project objectives.
• Demonstrate versatility, adaptability, autonomy, and initiative in an evolving environment.

What they ask

• Proficiency in French; knowledge of English is an asset.
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of software used in laboratory activities and/or Upstream.
• Good knowledge of basic laboratory techniques, Upstream activities, and aseptic techniques.
• Experience in cell culture, fermentation, or microbial processes.
• Strong analytical skills, organizational sense, and professional rigor.

Preferences.

• Experience with Upstream systems, equipment, or processes.
• Experience in biotechnological process development or vaccine production.
• Familiarity with electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN) and software dedicated to Upstream activities.
• Good knowledge of quality standards, BPL/GLP, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
