What you will do.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements related to research, development, and clinical research activities, such as clinical trial agreements (CTAs), research collaboration agreements, consortium agreements, service agreements, license agreements, data transfer agreements, and material transfer agreements.
- Advising clients on strategic legal matters relating to clinical research, research collaborations, intellectual property, privacy, healthcare, and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting and advising pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies, medical device companies, hospitals, CROs, and research institutions in their day-to-day legal operations and strategic projects.
- Managing direct client contact and independently handling multiple matters and projects across different jurisdictions, with strong attention to detail and organization.
- Working closely with the team and fellow professionals to provide practical, business-oriented, and solution-driven legal support.
Profile
- Master's degree in law (LLM or equivalent), qualified in any jurisdiction.
- Demonstrable legal experience within the life sciences sector, gained in industry, healthcare, or private practice. This is a hard requirement: applications without life sciences experience will not be taken into consideration.
- You work as an independent professional, or you are ready to start doing so, with your own registration, administration, etc.
- Strong background in commercial contracting and related legal fields, including contract law, intellectual property, privacy/data protection, and healthcare law.
- Familiarity with applicable life sciences regulations and guidelines, including CTR, MDR/IVDR, and ICH-GCP.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex matters clearly and pragmatically.
- Independent, hands-on and commercially minded, with the ability to work directly with clients under our label and to thrive in a flexible and entrepreneurial environment with significant responsibility.
