You ensure that an evening event for a social organization runs smoothly from start to finish. You prepare the evening, maintain an overview in the kitchen, collaborate with volunteers, and provide a tasty, healthy meal and a welcoming atmosphere. The goal is to offer guests a special evening where meeting and connection are central. You organize this based on your own experience and professional approach, within the practical agreements of the location and the applicable food safety rules.
Profile
We are looking for an independent professional who enjoys taking responsibility and feels at home in a dynamic kitchen. Someone who maintains an overview, naturally engages people, and takes pleasure in creating something beautiful together.
What they ask
- Experience cooking for large groups and effectively organizing the preparation process
- A completed chef's training at MBO3 level minimum is a plus
- Ability to maintain an overview during a busy cooking and evening event
- BHV (emergency response) and HACCP certificates are a plus
- Experience taking responsibility in a professional kitchen or similar environment
- Enjoy working with volunteers, motivating them, and assisting them where necessary
- Ability to independently organize and host an evening for a larger group
- Availability at times when the evenings take place, usually between 12:30 PM and approximately 8:30 PM
- Possess a car
