As a residential supervisor/caregiver IG, you provide care and guidance to people with acquired brain injury (ABI). You stand by the residents, offer support where needed, and help them discover step by step what they can do themselves again. You think along, encourage, and always look at what is possible. You help residents with their daily care (ADL): from washing and dressing to a good start to the day. Where necessary, you perform nursing technical actions.
Thanks to the one-on-one attention you provide, you truly see how someone is doing and discuss signals with your colleagues. With modern care technology, you support residents in increasing their independence and arranging their lives as pleasantly as possible. You understand how profound it is when someone who used to be able to do everything themselves is now dependent on help. With your attention, humor, and commitment, you offer residents peace, structure, and trust.
Profile
- You are (almost) in possession of a Caregiver IG diploma or an MBO level 3 or 4 diploma, such as MMZ or SPW.
- You are willing to work flexible hours and irregular shifts.
- You enthusiastically take on ADL tasks, knowing that you directly contribute to the well-being and daily lives of the residents.
