As a Client Manager Work & Income, you guide residents within the Participation Act towards work, participation, or appropriate support. You listen, motivate, and set boundaries where necessary, while safeguarding the legality, progress, and quality of the file. You will work on assignments at public organizations through a secondment agency.
What you do
- Conducting intake, guidance, and progress interviews
- Assessing applications within the Participation Act
- Explaining rights, obligations, and possibilities to residents
- Guiding residents towards work, participation, or appropriate support
- Drawing up and monitoring trajectory plans
- Managing your own caseload
- Identifying obstacles such as debts, health, language
- Collaborating with employers, reintegration partners, debt counseling, healthcare, and other chain partners
- Monitoring legality, efficiency
- Reporting, recording, and preparing decisions
- Identifying bottlenecks and opportunities in service provision and implementation
Profile
- Experience as a Client Manager Work & Income, Participation Act consultant, income consultant, work consultant, reintegration consultant, participation case manager, or similar role
- Experience within a public or semi-governmental organization
- Knowledge of the Participation Act and related laws and regulations
- Experience with intake interviews, progress interviews, caseload management, or application assessment
- Ability to work people-oriented within clear legal frameworks
- Good communication skills and file discipline
- Organizational sensitivity and understanding of the public context
- Ability to collaborate with chain partners, employers, and colleagues in policy, quality
- Motivation to further develop yourself within Work & Income
