You contribute to a sustainable, clean, and safe living environment by performing environmental supervision at industrial companies subject to notification and permit requirements in various sectors. The activities are carried out within the applicable work processes, priorities, and planning of an environmental agency.
What you do
- Perform environmental inspections, consisting of a maximum of 70 category 2 inspections, 50 category 3 inspections, and 60 re-inspections
- Handle complaints and incidents
- Administratively process and record performed inspections and findings in Digital Checklists and the Open Wave case management system
- Coordinate activities, findings, and next steps with colleagues within the department and, where necessary, with colleagues from other parts of the organization
- Exchange knowledge and contribute to a uniform implementation of environmental supervision within the organization
- Work according to the applicable work processes, methods, and quality agreements
Profile
You are results-oriented and have strong communication skills. You regularly coordinate the execution of tasks with colleagues and process the results in the systems used. You prepare inspection reports and associated correspondence. You exchange knowledge and contribute to a uniform implementation of environmental supervision.

- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the role of environmental supervisor performing category 2 and 3 inspections
- Demonstrably in possession of a valid driving license B and a car
- Demonstrable work experience with Rx-Mission
Preferences.
- Completed environmental-oriented education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience in the role of environmental supervisor performing category 2 and 3 inspections
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience performing re-inspections
- Demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years as a supervisor within an environmental agency
