As a continuous service technician, you ensure that a healthcare institution can function 24/7 by resolving technical malfunctions. You work in an environment where technology and care are directly linked.
What you will do.
- Quickly and professionally resolve malfunctions in installations such as electricity, air treatment, water, and medical gases
- Monitor safety, identify risks, and take appropriate measures
- Perform checks and inspections and identify deviations
- Take emergency measures in case of calamities such as leaks or system failures
- Collaborate with internal technical teams, care departments, and external parties
- Carefully register activities and ensure clear handover
- Check work permits and safety measures
What they ask
- Minimum MBO-4 diploma in a technical field, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, installation technology, or marine engineering
- Relevant technical work experience, for example, in installation technology, industry, utilities, or marine technology
- Technical insight and basic knowledge of building-related installations and fault analysis
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and make decisions, even under high pressure
- Willingness to work in a three-shift system, including nights, weekends
- Prioritize safe working practices and address others about them
- Good oral and written communication skills in Dutch
- Curious, eager to learn, and keen to expand technical knowledge
Practical
- You will be part of an experienced and collegial team of technicians
- Extensive onboarding and development program to get acquainted with specific technical installations
- Training in building management systems (BMS/GBS), technical alarm systems, emergency procedures, inspection, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Training in careful reporting, administrative processing, work permits, and relevant NEN procedures
- Opportunity for specialized knowledge and certifications in areas such as electricity, gases
