Advisor Circular Economy & Future Proof Construction

What you will do. As an Advisor Circular Economy, you will guide the circular ambitions of the organization. You will work on the further development of the circular pillars within the Climate Neutral program and translate policy goals into concrete projects, measures, and administrative decision-making. You will lead various circular initiatives and ensure that ideas are actually translated into implementation.

You will play an important role in connecting colleagues, administrators, regional partners, and knowledge institutions. Your activities include:

  • Developing and realizing circular ambitions within the Climate Neutral program
  • Setting up, guiding, and executing circular projects and policy developments
  • Fulfilling the role of project leader for the Future-Proof Construction program
  • Acting as a point of contact for circular construction and circular infrastructure
  • Drafting policy, administrative proposals, and decision-making documents
  • Organizing and guiding administrative processes
  • Connecting internal and external parties, such as regional partnerships and knowledge institutions
  • Actively contributing to regional collaborations and focus groups in the field of construction, infrastructure
  • Driving policy by inspiring, motivating, and involving colleagues in the development of projects and policy products
  • Strengthening awareness around circular and climate-neutral working within the organization

Key focus areas. In the coming period, the focus will be on:

  • Circular construction and infrastructure
  • Making the organization itself more sustainable
  • Waste reduction and raw material use
  • Clean and Emission-Free Construction (SEB)
  • Short food chains

Profile

You are a connector who effortlessly switches between strategy, policy, and implementation. You know how to engage people in new developments and are energized by achieving social impact. You possess administrative sensitivity and are able to translate complex issues into concrete actions. You take initiative, see opportunities, and know how to bring different interests together to create supported solutions.

What they ask

  • Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrable work experience with policy development within sustainability, circularity, and/or the physical living environment
  • Demonstrable work experience with guiding administrative decision-making and leading projects

Preferences.

  • Demonstrable work experience within a government organization, province, and/or regional collaboration
  • Demonstrable work experience with developing and implementing circular policy
  • Demonstrable work experience with circular construction, circular infrastructure, and/or raw material policy
  • Demonstrable work experience with projects within an administrative environment involving multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrable work experience with regional partners, knowledge institutions, businesses, and/or partnerships

Practical
